Skipping Breakfast Makes Your Bones Weak

Breakfast is often called the most important meal of the day. Yet many Africans skip it. Some think tea and a heavy lunch are enough. Others rush out of the house without eating.

Research from Nara Medical University in Japan shows the danger. People who often skip breakfast have an 18% higher chance of bone fractures. Eating late dinners also increases the risk by 8%.

Why? Our bones, like the rest of the body, follow a natural clock. They need steady energy and nutrients, especially in the morning, to stay strong. Without this, bones become weak over time.

In Africa, strong bones are important for farming, carrying heavy loads, and living a long life.

Traditional foods like millet porridge, maize pap, kenkey, beans, sweet potatoes, or boiled eggs make breakfast simple and affordable.

Don’t skip strength. Protect your bones every morning.
